Sales Manager

Our Markham Financial Centre is searching for a Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, training and mentoring financial services advisors. The goal is to increase sales and provide guidance in coordination with the financial centre's management team. Leading from the front and by example would work best at our centre.

Primary Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically introduce the career at networking events, career fairs, seminars, and by any other means that you feel is likely to yield results
• Provide supportive coaching and training while holding advisors accountable for their commitments
• Assist advisors with prospecting, product knowledge, financial needs analysis, and sales closing on joint client visits

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in direct sales in the financial services industry
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities 
• Able to act independently in the best interests of the client, advisor and centre
• Coaching and training experience either one-on-one or at team meeting
• Proficient in  Microsoft   Word ,  Excel ,  PowerPoint and in internet navigation and research
• University degree or equivalent
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations are assets

This is an ideal opportunity to grow and motivate a sales team. To round out your compensation, some personal sales will be required.
