Status: Contract up to 24 months 

Working Conditions: On-Site

Education Level:  Grade 12 or equivalent, plus two years of further study in a community college in a Chemical Technician Laboratory program or Environmental Technician program.

Location: Bowmanville, ON

Number of Position(s): 3

Shifts: Rotating Days/Nights

JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a results-oriented  Chemical Technician  to join our team in our Chemical Lab located at our Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, located in Bowmanville, Ontario.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Chemistry and Environment, the  Chemical Technician  will work in a team of innovative experts in the chemical and environmental side of our industrial generating utility organization. They will be expected to maintain established quality control standards, compile records for analytical study and work in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and regulations.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG’s public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company’s commitment to growing its social license
