Job Description:
•Conduct repairs, modifications and retrofits on vehicles
•Provide customer with technical assistance on repair procedures
•Liaise with internal and external customers for resolution of data and technical issues
•Prepare input for various management and log reports
•Perform rework tasks and other general assembly tasks
•Maintain safe work practices
•Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues

Responsibilities
REQUIRED Qualifications:
•Truck, coach, automotive interprovincial certification or qualified Military Fire Control Systems Technician or Military Electro-Optical Repair Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician
•Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of vehicles
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
•Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
•Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office applications
•Experience working with teams and/or customers
•Ability to work independently and take initiative
•Ability to meet physical demands of the job
•Possess a valid Driver’s License and ability to qualify for DZ license
•Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Canadian Firearms Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)
Qualifications
PREFERRED (not required) Qualifications:
•University degree, College diploma or equivalent Military Certification
•Previous repair and maintenance experience with heavy equipment/machinery
•Valid Secret Level 2 security clearance
