JOB SUMMARY The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of operations within the company, focusing on production, warehouse management, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The primary goal is to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and growth in the company's food manufacturing and distribution processes. Each problem is an opportunity to find a solution An inclusive, respectful, and kind attitude towards team members no matter their culture, race, or gender Committed to the vision and fundamental values of the company A loyal brand advocate at work and in life Filled with passion for our local food eco system and want to help drive change ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Oversight and Coordination: Provide comprehensive oversight to all operating facets of the business, including the culinary team, meat production team, warehouse, FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance), and delivery Manage and guide supervisors and managers within these departments, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration to achieve overall business objectives Strategic Thinking: Think strategically to support the fast-paced growth of the business Demonstrate leadership in the development and mentorship of team members Work towards leveraging operating expenses while focusing on cost efficiency and productivity improvements throughout operations Customer Service Execution: Assume responsibility for all aspects of execution related to servicing customers Collaborate with various teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through efficient and effective operational processes Quality Control and Product Innovation: Uphold and enhance artisan premium quality in all products Support and collaborate with product teams to bring new and innovative products to market Maintain a keen focus on quality control measures to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a passion for improving line productivity Develop and optimize core processes to enhance overall operational efficiency Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational aspects Safety and FSQA: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols throughout the organization Oversee and ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Assurance standards Collaborate with relevant teams to address and rectify any safety or quality issues promptly Financial Management: Work towards achieving financial goals by effectively managing operating expenses Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Proven experience of 8-10 years in operations management within a manufacturing industry. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and mentoring teams. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence. Experience in quality control, product innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and FSQA standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
