Job description
Our client, in the Financial Services industry, is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in Ottawa. Your role as a Tax Manager is to support Portfolio Managers to deliver high value service to their clients.
- Provide branch level tax preparation services
- Provide client tax planning services
- Research/advise on tax minimization strategies for clients
- Provide assistance to client CRA matters that arise due to audit or over- contribution
- Work primarily with Portfolio Manager to meet clients to create a working relationship and to collect information re: KYC, financial planning, and other client updates
- Provide support to Portfolio Managers in preparing for client meetings
- Assist with input and analysis for client financial plans
- Assist with new client onboarding documents-review
- Creating/Generating client specific reporting
- Acting as the Client Ambassador - maintaining strong relationships with clients

Qualifications: - CPA Designation
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
