Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. They operate through two segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical test and measurement instrumentation for the energy aerospace power research medical and industrial markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions as well as electrical interconnects specialty metals and thermal management systems.

Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Studies blueprints sketches drawings manuals specification or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece sequence of operations and setup requirements. Measure mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Selects aligns and secures holding fixtures cutting tools attachments accessories and materials on machines. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed feed coolant flow depth and angle of cut.
Ability to read drawings and tape measure accurately. Basic math skills to include addition subtraction multiplication and division for whole numbers and fractions. Basic understanding of the difference between standard and metric measurements
Ability to learn how to operate band saw drill press and beveling machines. Ability to safely use a cutting torch and grinding equipment.
Ability to perform basic math skills to add subtract multiply and divide units of measure in decimals and fractions. Able to calculate dimensions and angles.
Ability to perform basic layout work. Experience in use of measuring equipment including micrometers calipers and rulers. As well as height thread and pin gages.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
03 years of experience or equivalent.
High school diploma.
An understanding of machining fundamentals.
Heavy lifting (frequently 25ilbs ).
Regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
Stooping climbing and standing.
