The role:As a lead in our Systems group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and defining how the foundations of Jobber are built. You will be responsible for the horizontal surfaces in the app, across both desktop-web and native-mobile. This includes the navigation, search experience, page templates, personalization strategy, settings, and identity. This is a broad portfolio that will give you the impact to shape the user experience of the product. Working with our Front-End Foundations and Design Systems teams, you will be the connective tissue that joins many product areas, and you will be proactively collaborating with many senior stakeholders to land your work across shared surfaces. You will be identifying and addressing our service providers' most critical and high-value needs.
You’ll report into the Design Director, who will be focused on supporting and challenging you, helping you make an impact across Jobber while you grow further in your career!
The team:
As an instrumental part of the larger Product Development team, our Product Designers work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to achieve goals for our business and our users. Product Design at Jobber is decentralized, meaning you’ll work in tandem with a set group of Engineers and Product Managers. This group is central to the success of Jobber — focused on creating software that delivers value to tens of thousands of people around the world!
