Account Manager in Winnipeg, MB
Our esteemed client, a leading player in the building materials distribution space, has partnered with Summit Search Group to identify a dynamic individual for the role of Account Manager. Qualifications:
- Industry knowledge in building materials is preferred. Knowledge in non-structural wood products is an asset, or experience in building materials. Product knowledge enables opportunities for upselling, cross selling and adding value.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B account management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Post-secondary education in business is an asset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented with a high sense of urgency to achieve targets.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and CRM systems.
Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Follow and contribute to the sales process, achieving profitable results.
- Grow business with existing accounts through effective upselling and cross-selling.
Account Management:
- Establish and maintain multiple accounts through proactive follow-ups.
- Close new accounts, ensuring accurate information entry into the CRM.
Market Analysis:
- Understand and analyze customer needs, identifying sales opportunities.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry best practices, and competitor presence.
Manufacturing:
- Promote the Company’s manufactured products.
- Prepare RFPs and quotes, securing orders.
