Aecon Utilities is ready to become Canadas #1 utility construction provider and were looking for a Warehouse Associate to help us get there! Reporting to the Field Services Manager, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for goods being issued, tool crib operations, delivery duties, and housekeeping in the warehouse. What

You'll Do Here: Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).

Complete the cycle of issuing goods to ensure accurate inventory levels. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store). Participate in the daily cycle count.

Maintain the highest standard of safety which could include participating in safety related training and courses. Ensure that all stock placements and stock issues are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure the quantity, quality, reliability and operational effectiveness of the tool cribs are maintained.

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse which includes tool cribs, vehicles and surrounding work areas. Recommend enhancements to improve warehouse effectiveness and efficiency and participate in projects related to the warehouse. Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies.

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. What

You Bring to the Team: Relevant work experience in an industrial and/or commercial construction warehouse. Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions would be considered an asset. Familiarity with general warehouse operations and related equipment.

Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Service orientated and the ability to work with in a team environment. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
