Job DescriptionThe House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff and to build a pool of qualified candidates for the Senior Technology Infrastructure Project Manager.
The Senior Technology Infrastructure Project Managers are accountable for the leadership and planning of complex IT infrastructure projects. You will work on large scale, high impact, mission critical and multi-disciplinary projects varying from the integration of technology in buildings, to campus wide infrastructure deployments in support of the Parliament’s strategic IT directions and priorities. As the Technology Infrastructure Project Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of technology infrastructure, from planning and execution, to transfer to operations. Your ability to navigate technical complexities, engage stakeholders effectively, and manage resources is essential for providing exceptional services to Members and Canadians.

Education :
University degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management OR an acceptable combination of post-secondary education with relevant experience.
Experience :
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary information technology teams (multimedia, broadcasting, cabling, networking, physical security systems, communication infrastructures and/or IoT) and collaborating with partners in fields such as construction, security, interior design and architecture, etc.
Experience in managing and documenting technology infrastructure projects encompassing all project stages, from inception to deployment and closeout including budget and resource planning and management;
Experience in leading large projects with complex stakeholder engagement;
Experience in preparing and presenting project updates to senior executives and project stakeholders.
Assets :
PMP Certification;
Experience working in a construction environment;
Experience with government procurement.
