Job description

This is a contract position for a Business Analyst for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: 1 Year
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
Technical

· Document and understand Business requirements, Business rules, functional and non-functional requirements

· Participating in QA testing, test cases, use cases, meetings and development of documentation

· Understand Business rules

· Understand vendor releases, identify potential impacts

· Assist Senior Business Analyst with troubleshooting, reporting and documentation of defects

Relationship Management and Communication

· Work with all stakeholders, participating in working groups

· Stakeholder engagement/interface with Third Party Vendor, Quality Assurance teams and development


· Prepare and present analysis for technical and non-technical audience

· Assist with the development of process documentation

· Assist with the development of user guides

· Assist with the development of training guides

· Participate in testing and testing documentation

Business Knowledge

· Assist with gap analysis

· Identify business process changes

· Assist with use cases, data modelling, data and process flows and associated documentation

· Document functional and non-functional requirements

· Follow OPS best practices

· Assist Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager with any documentation, testing etc.

Qualifications
Long term healthcare sector experience
Strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills with ability to build rapport with stakeholders
