Seasonal Employment “Chef/Cook”

Job Description: Working as a cook, preparing meals for up to 24 guests and 20 employees with made to order breakfast and set dinner menu. No lunch orders.

Duties: • Preparing breakfast for guests and employees. • Preparing set dinner menu for guests and employees. • Baking deserts and dinner rolls or beads. • Preparing appetizers for guests. • Take part in the food and kitchen supply ordering. • Organize daily meals for staff and guests. • Help manage kitchen staff and kitchen responsibilities. • Evening meals to be served to staff at 5:45 and guest salads go out at 6:30 followed by main course then desert. • Breakfast is made it order by each guest. • Be courteous, respectful, and helpful to guests and other employees. • No lunch orders

Additional Information: • Food, board, and transportation to the lodge are included in compensation. • Private cabin and bath • Employment dates from May 8 to Aug. 8, 2024 • Compensation paid bi-weekly • Lodge is a fly-in lodge located 250 miles north of Winnipeg, no roads. • Tips are given at guest’s discretion. • Pay based on experience ($6500 per month starting) plus tips
