About Us 

The joint venture between SNC-Lavalin and Aecon has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement (RFR) project. The project involves refurbishment of all four reactors at the Darlington Generating Station and consists of two phases – a Definition Phase and an Execution Phase. The Definition Phase includes the construction of a full-scale reactor mock-up to simulate key elements of the refurbishment work, and the development, procurement and testing of specialized tooling required for the project. The Execution Phase involves refurbishment of the reactor cores using the tools and methods that were developed and tested during the Definition Phase.

The Junior Project Coordinator Co-op is a highly motivated self starter who will assist in various areas of the RFR project, depending on business requirements. Please note, this is a 16 month work term. 

What You'll Do Here 

What You Bring To The Team

•    2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Engineering degree program (Energy, Power, Electrical, Electronics, I&C, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Nuclear)
•    2nd or 3rd year Engineering Technology or Engineering Technician program (Energy, Power, Electrical, Electronics, I&C, Mechanical, Civil/Structural)
•    Strong interpersonal skills when communicating with a large team
•    Organizational and time management skills (ability to prioritize tasks)
•    Experience with Microsoft Excel an asset
