What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for incoming vendor shipments and for REEF outgoing vessel deliveries.
• Maintaining storage areas upon reception of operational inventory and responsible for its organization.
• Managing product flow by ensuring that inventory is up to date to ensure food availability for the production team.
• Receiving food inventory and validating order accuracy.
• Ensuring vendors and drivers are in compliance with food safety protocols with the vendors.
• Scheduling food deliveries and water truck pick up services.
• Report any spills or wastes from the deliveries to the Production Kitchen Manager.
• Manage vehicle maintenance and report any damages.
• Hiring drivers and handling their training and performance management.

What We Want From You:

• CVOR – Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration and DZ License holder
• 5-10 years of experience in logistics management in the food industry
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and logistics management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Frequently operate small office equipment such as a computer, tablet, and copier/printer, telephone.
• Work is performed in a production facility environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operating a pallet truck

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed indoors and outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
