Job Summary
The Junior Financial Analyst will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for providing support to the program’s Senior Financial Analysts. This position will be responsible for distribution of financial statements, processing of all Interpretation and Translation invoices, GST report, prepaid recurring entries and other duties as required.

Your Role:
Archway’s Junior Financial Analyst with the Accounting Program contributes by:
- Monitoring Interpretation and Translation Accounts Receivable Aged Report and processing Interpretation and Translation invoices.
- Ensuring accuracy of monthly prepaid recurring entries including processing and posting of the entries. Ensuring prepaid schedule agrees with the general ledger account.
- Preparing GST payable and rebate reports.
- Distributing income statements to programs.
- Assisting in the monthly income statement variance analysis. Communicating discrepancies to the Accounting Manager and recommending corrections and solutions.
- Maintaining and scanning accounting documents in Microsoft 0365 SharePoint for audit trail.
- Assisting with preparation of the year-end working papers.
- Providing Sage Intacct helpdesk function to internal users.

Our Offer
- Wage: $23.47 to $24.45 per hour.
- A full-time, permanent position at 35 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Getting an Interview–you will be considered if you have:
- A post-secondary degree in Accounting, or in the process of obtaining one.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- Experience working in a multiple cost centre or multiple related company environment is an asset.
- Experience working in a non-profit organization is an asset.
- Experience working within a team environment.
The Job Requires you to have: :
- Strong data entry, verification, and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills: strong ability to use Microsoft Office365, particularly Excel.
- Well developed verbal, written, and active listening communication skills; able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and confidentially with staff, supervisory personnel, and external organizations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to balance and manage competing projects and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in an open office space.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions, requiring the ability to switch tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work on site, with staff and clients; adherence to health and safety protocols is required.
- Ability to work for extended periods sitting and using the screen/keyboard.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
