Commercial Lines Insurance Brokering (Marketing)
Job Description
Our Client is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their Commercial Lines Insurance Brokering Department as a Commercial Marketer.
What will you do?
· Entry of Carrier Submissions to be sent to market
· Securing and negotiating terms with insuring partners for new and renewal business
· Insurer relationship development/management
· Creating renewal and new business proposals
· In house quoting
· Maintenance of our insurer data base, including contacts and company appetites
· Research and running reports on prospects
· Assembly of proposal documents
· Running marketing reports
· Updating BMS with client information
· Maintaining proposal documents
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical knowledge of a variety of commercial insurance products
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· A strong attention to detail
· Team player
· 1-2 years commercial insurance marketing experience.
· RIBO license is an asset
· Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Passion for the Client
· Experience with EPIC would be an asset
· CIP would be an asset as would underwriting experience.
