As a Junior Mobile App Developer on the Marketing Websites & Mobile Apps Product Management team at Sobeys in our Tahoe, Mississauga, ON office, you will be working with the Sr Mobile Developers to support them on their backlog/enhancement activities across our Native Mobile Applications. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities
- Regularly collaborate with members across the developer & scrum teams.
- Writes and verifies code which adheres to the acceptance criteria.
- Support the needs of the scrum team including contributing to the delivery of working apabilities.
- Participate in regular code reviews, and help formulate and ensure adherence to both industry and best practices and guidelines.
- Timely delivery of tickets in every sprint.
- Actively involved in refinement of backlog tickets.
- Responsible for debugging and resolution of production issues reported by client or users.

What you have to offer:
Skills and Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with proven competency in production software development
- Comfortable with collective code ownership and pair programming
- Solid understanding of multithreaded applications
- Detailed knowledge about a variety of Android frameworks & iOS Provisioning workflows
- Understanding of RESTful API design and firebase
- Understanding of Android Member Center users and roles
- Knowledge and/or experience with Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Coroutines, flow, Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, C/C++, ,UIKit, Cocoapods, SPM,XCTest, Jira
- Experience with Gitflow workflow, CI/CD pipelines, and some parts of the Google CloudPlatform
- 1+ years of experience in each Kotlin & Swift
- Experience deploying apps to stores (Google Play or Apple)
- 1+ years experience in building each Android & iOS apps
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and mobile applications
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
- Knowledge about the Lean Startup and Agile Methodologies
- Have an eye for good design, and be passionate about consumer product development in general
- Work with the product team to design, architect, and ship our amazing applications.
- Work with other (vendors) engineers through technical collaboration, discussion, and code review to deliver enhancements
- Keep up to date with the latest advances in Android development.
- Help automate testing and continuous integration.
The salary range for this position in [British Columbia] is [$60,666K - $83,000K per year]. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
