We are looking for a committed Sales Director to join our expanding team as we pursue ongoing global growth.
Collaborating closely with senior management, the Sales Director holds a pivotal position requiring a strategic visionary. This role centers on fostering sales expansion, cultivating client connections, and harnessing an extensive industry network. An ideal candidate will boast strong project management acumen and wield an influential global network across diverse markets. Additionally, the Sales Director will drive the establishment of a dynamic revenue pipeline, tactically engaging target customers in specific markets, uncovering potential new markets, nurturing existing relationships, and championing the Evoco brands.
Functions and responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligning with Evoco's objectives, leveraging extensive industry expertise and a wide network to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Leverage a vast and well-established network to access key decision-makers, establish strategic partnerships, and drive business growth.
- Actively pursue and cultivate relationships with new customers through various channels such as trade fairs, social media, and networking events, utilizing industry connections to expand Evoco's client base.
- Initiate and lead high-level sales calls and meetings with potential customers globally, adeptly presenting Evoco's offerings and technical expertise to secure sales opportunities.
- Set and surpass ambitious sales targets, ensuring revenue and profit goals are consistently achieved while managing expenses effectively.
- Stay abreast of global footwear market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences, sharing invaluable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the effective management and utilization of CRM tools to streamline sales processes, manage accounts, and facilitate seamless communication with clients.
- Spearhead Evoco's presence at international industry events, trade shows, and conferences, capitalizing on personal networks to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Foster close collaboration between sales teams and product development, ensuring alignment of offerings with customer needs, market trends, and global demands.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to the global sales teams, empowering them to achieve targets while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical/scientific discipline or equivalent (Field Application Engineer background, or equivalent)
- With MBA degree is an asset
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in global sales with a demonstrable network of influential contacts.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional global teams effectively.
- Strong negotiation, communication in both technical and business terms, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
- Extensive global travel availability.
- High aptitude in technological trends and advanced technical mindset.
- Passionate about sustainable goods and reducing the carbon footprint.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities/processes at the same time, and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers.
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
