Regional Sales Manager

Job description

MatrixHR is currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager ideally located in Edmonton AB or Alberta Region however open to outside the Alberta region for the best candidate. This management position will be responsible for evaluating and developing lasting relationships throughout Canada within the petrochemical, refineries, power plants, pulp & paper mills, steel, and food industries to support the company’s growth.

Position: Long Term Contract, Full Time

Annual Salary: $150,000/per year

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Effectively position the company and its products to meet the current and future needs of customers.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
• Actively pursue key accounts.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships by meeting with customers, conducting presentations, and discussing existing and upcoming projects.
• Contact and meet with customers to discuss all of the aspects of the RFPs / Proposals and close opportunities.
• Preparation of marketing activity reports and presentations to executive management.
• Recognize opportunities for growth and implement strategies that will enhance customer satisfaction, company market share, and profitability.
• Assign individual booking and revenue goals.
• Work with the internal marketing coordinator to develop client call strategies.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships by meeting with customers, conducting presentations, and discussing existing & new projects.
• Participation in annual sales strategy planning, business conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's Degree is preferred, however, not required, notably in Engineering or another Technical field.
• 4 years of sales experience in a related industrial field.
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel.
• Knowledge of cooling towers and industrial equipment.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
