Job description

We are looking for millwright for a growing manufacturing facility in Guelph.
You will be working on a straight afternoon shift - Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm

The ideal candidate will come from a steel, automotive or an aerospace background and have PRIOR CNC experience.

Shifts: Straight Afternoons Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm
Title: Night Shift Millwright
Payrate: $42-43/hour plus shift premium

Responsibilities
Knowledge of CNC machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, and welding
- Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, repair and service of PLC’s, (Fanuc), motors, controls, generators, transformers, instrumentation, switchgear, batteries, lighting, regulators, alternators
- Keeping the preventative maintenance schedule up to date
- Logging all updates in the P.M. log
- Following all safety precautions (ie. lockouts) and procedures when carrying out work on equipment.

- Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance work on machines
- Fix and replace items as required in the office and amenity areas
- Proficient in the using machine shop equipment and in the use of hand, power, and measuring tools
- Other duties as required

Qualifications
- 433a license
- Ability to read blueprints
- Some welding skills would be preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
