The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Plant Reliability Manager in leading and directing personnel engaged in all phases of the plant engineering function, including installation, and repair and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds and facilities.  This individual is expected to place an emphasis on providing a committed and high level of technical service in a safe manner, while partnering with other leaders to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency. 

The Maintenance Supervisor should have:

• Strong industrial background, experience with automation and electronics is a plus
• Experience with maintenance management software
• Experience in a maintenance leadership role
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization 
• Experience working in a union environment is a plus

The Maintenance Supervisor will:

• Oversee the general maintenance of the plant
• Assist in directing preventive maintenance programs and implementing corrective actions
• Coordinate and supervise all construction and service work performed by outside contractors
• Conduct periodic inspections of all plant systems, equipment, facilities and grounds.  Oversees all changes or upgrades 
• Review shift operations, make decisions, and implement actions relative to changes on shifts that may impact processing, procedures, personnel, equipment, and customer requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Certificate of Qualification (422A or 309A or 433a) or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a maintenance leadership position in a manufacturing facility, preferably 5 or more years 
• Glass industry experience is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
