Job description
This is a contract position for a Project Manager - Senior for our public sector client.
Work location: 21 College Street, Toronto
Duration: 12 Months
7.25 hours/day
This is an onsite role that requires the candidate to be onsite 5 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
· Plan and lead project(s) as part of large multi-ministry/multi-year initiatives involving complex network architecture, advanced and innovative telecommunications/video/Video over I/P (VoIP), and audio/visual systems
· Manage client relationships/networks as well as partnerships with business areas
· Manage project teams and provide guidance on the use of audio visual and information technology in client business planning and business improvement initiatives
· Develop project charters and master project plans, guide the definition of goals, deliverables and scope working with internal clients and stakeholders, I&IT specialists, business planners to ensure clarity, accuracy and acceptance
· Identify and assess risks, and recommend mitigation measures for approval
· Provide leadership to project teams, external service providers and contractors
· Identify impact of change, escalate to project sponsor for decision, revise work plans, schedule, and project budget to implement approved changes
· Provide specialized advice and expertise to client groups and for the development of business cases and Treasury Board / Management Board of Cabinet submissions.
• Coordinate I&IT procurement to acquire and negotiate goods and services and administer contractual agreements.
Skills
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of audio and videoconferencing technology experience
• At least 10 years of project management experience
