Job description
Groundexpert Asbestos Removal Ltd. is looking for 1 Construction Worker. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 13456 92A Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia, V3V 1K3.
The Job Duties for this position will be:
- Load and unload material and equipment and move it to workspaces
- Install and erect containment systems using power tools
- Seal off work area using plastic sheeting and tape
- Perform different activities at construction sites, as coordinated.
- Safely removing asbestos from ceilings, walls, boilers and more
- Handle and dispose of the asbestos and other hazardous waste material according to the workplace safety guidelines.
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment
- Erect and destroy substantial structures, framework, inclines, catwalks, shoring and blockades expected at construction sites
- Wearing specialist protective gear including coveralls and full face mask.
Job Requirements:
- No Language Requirement
- On the job training will be provided
What we offer:
- $23 per hour
- 4% vacation pay
