Job description
Our south Whitby warehouse client is looking for temporary help for approximately 2-3 months. The role could last linger. We're looking for 3 people for day shift, Monday to Friday.
Are you looking for a more entry-level warehouse position in the Whitby area?
Do you like working as part of a team in a warehouse environment?
Can you comfortably lift up to 40lb?
Do you have experience wrapping skids, and using a manual pallet jack (pump truck)?
Can you clear a basic police background check?
Day time shift, no nights, no weekends. 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. $16.55 hourly, plus 4% vacation pay and paid weekly on Thursdays.

Responsibilities
As a warehouse worker, your duties will include:
- Assemble boxes and pack items into boxes, sealing boxes
- Verify items and quantity provided against shop order
- Retrieving products that need to be packaged
- Using a pump truck
- Use of a shrink wrap machine
- Mathematical Skills (must know your numbers)
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- Some experience working in a general labour role
- Able to lift up to 40lb
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Some mathematical skills
- You are reliable and ready to work all 6 days required
- You have reliable transportation (buss accessible)
- Able to clear a police check
