Mission
CIMA+ is growing and expanding its Earth and Environmental services across Ontario. As part of the overall growth is a focus on natural environmental services in the Greater Toronto Area and the Golden Horseshoe. The Natural Environment Team is looking for a Project Lead to support projects from conception to execution. The lead will be supported by the existing team of biologist, environmental professionals, and field technicians. The focus of the work is the delivery of various types of projects’ natural heritage reports for a variety of sectors (waterpower, transportation, land development etc.) for both public and private clients.
The successful candidate would work in a hybrid mode but be based out of one of our Southern Ontario offices.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in one of our Ontario offices in and around the GTA (London, Kitchener, Burlington, Mississauga, Bowmanville) .
This position will be heavily focused on the proposals, report writing and impact analysis to support natural heritage projects with opportunities to assist with natural heritage inventories (aquatics and terrestrial). The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience with assessing potential impacts to the natural environment and obtaining permits (i.e., species at risk).
