Facility: CANORA HOSPITAL
Job Description: The Dietitian Degree provides patient care by attending to the nutritional needs of inpatients and ambulatory patients through regular and therapeutic diets. This employee acts as a consultant for medical staff regarding nutritional matters. This employee also provides assistance to the Food Service Managers as well as the Employees in the Food Nutrition Services department regarding clinical client related concerns.
Required Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree with a Major in Nutrition, Dietetics or an equivalent degree program.
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Successful completion of a Dietitians of Canada accredited dietetic internship or equivalent
Valid drivers license or the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making.
Display ability to prioritize workload
Expert knowledge of computer operations including common business software applications
Must demonstrate sound judgment in assessing, analyzing and implementing nutritional care plans
Possess high level interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
