Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in the planting, maintenance, and development of the garden areas.
- Lead and manage a team of gardeners, ensuring effective delegation and supervision of tasks.
- Develop and implement garden maintenance plans and schedules.
- Monitor the health of all plants and the garden ecosystem, applying appropriate care and treatments.
- Collaborate with other departments or external parties for garden-related projects or events.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper use of gardening equipment and tools.
- Regularly assess garden needs, proposing improvements or enhancements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of garden activities and expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge in horticulture and landscaping.
- Proven experience in a gardening supervisory role.
- Capable of guiding other gardeners and managing paperwork efficiently.
- Physically fit to perform gardening tasks.
- Ability to generate outstanding results in garden maintenance and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with a variety of plant species and garden maintenance techniques.
