Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Saint-Laurent (hybrid work schedule)
Salary: Up to $26 per hour
Job Type: 6-month contract with high possibility of permanent employment

A leader in manufacturing is looking for their next Accounts Payable Specialist ! In this role, you'll be instrumental in the daily operations, meticulously reviewing, verifying, and processing a substantial volume of invoices. If this opportunity sounds like you, apply today!

Requirements:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Competency in accounts payable with knowledge of Canadian tax laws
- Knowledge computerized accounting systems, databases, and Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

- Process a high volume of invoices
- Verify purchase orders (POs) in the system
- Review and resolve discrepancies in the monthly statements from vendors
- Document required accruals at the end of each month..... And more!
