Sales Administrator in Georgetown

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, dedicated individual to join a fast-growing organization in Georgetown as a Sales Administrator. This full-time permanent opportunity is located in Georgetown and will have the responsibilities of processing work orders and back-end administration with some data entry in accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will come from 1-2 years of experience in administration, inventory, purchasing or a related role ideally within the manufacturing sector.
This position is ideal for an extremely detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem-solving and multi-tasking. Previous experience with Microsoft EXCEL is required and previous experience or exposure to Quickbooks, and inventory management systems would be considered an asset.

Advantages

- $45,000 - $50,000 per annum based on experience
- Permanent, full-time position
- Great location in Georgetown
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm during winter months
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm during spring/summer months
- Half days on Fridays starting from the May long weekend up until Labour Day long weekend
- 3 weeks of vacation

Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing relationships by creating rapport via regular contact and follow-up
- Answer customer inquiries and concerns regarding product availability, pricing etc.
- Input, update, and maintain customer information on leads, prospects, and opportunities
- Preparation and follow-up of customer quotations
- Monitor, and maintain current inventory levels within a busy manufacturing ERP system (Fishbowl)
- Working with Buyers, Supervisors, Management and Receiving
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality
- Create and verify inventory requirements based on usage and lead times
- Process requisitions, maintain supplier database and source new
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and trends

Qualifications
- One to two years experience in a similar administrative role
- Previous experience in Excel is required
- Previous experience or exposure with Quickbooks and or inventory management software is considered an asset
- Must be proficient in verbal and written communication
- Self-starter, efficient, organized
- Strong proficiency in order entry systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
- Being flexible and adaptable to the work requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and help the team when needed
