Marianhill is a charitable long-term care facility located in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. We provide specialized care for 200 long-term and complex continuing care Residents as well as a 3-bed Hospice unit.

Marianhill is currently seeking Part Time Housekeeping Aides 

The Housekeeper Aide works under the direction and supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services  or his/her delegate to help clients maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere in their homes. Duties performed in accordance with Marianhill’s Mission Statement, established policies, procedures and current legislation. Duties performed in a manner which respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of the client and promotes maximum independence for the client to achieve the highest level of independence possible in their home.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 11 education is required.
• Own transportation required and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in commercial cleaning and working with geriatrics and dementia care is an asset.
• Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
• Excellent attendance is essential.

Hours of Work: Various – to be discussed

Wage: CUPE 2764 Collective Agreement, hourly $20.30-20.97 – currently under negotiations. Part time staff are eligible to join the pension plan.
