PAYROLL ACCOUNTING ANALYST
5-month Term
Victoria
As an integral part of the Payroll team, you do business system administration in Oracle Payroll and EZ Labour modules. You are responsible for providing reporting, analysis and reconciliation of all payroll accounts, including liability accounts. Additionally, you analyze costing data, create regular and ad hoc reports for management, and ensure proper internal controls are in place and followed.
You are analytical. You have a proven ability to analyse business process and devise improvements. You have great communication and interpersonal skills and are able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. You have a working knowledge of large payroll systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc) and are very detail oriented.
You have completed or are working towards PCP designation under the Canadian Payroll Association and have completed Introductory Financial Accounting courses. You have 2 years relevant work experience in a computerized financial operations department and have an advanced level of skill and knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
