ABS has an exciting opportunity for a District Sales Manager accustomed to extensive travel, with management experience and the ability to manage a geographically dispersed sales force and customer base. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening a communications skills, will be highly organized and with the ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel, and use effective persuasion and negotiation tactics. The District Sales Manager promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. This role informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices, and creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. We collaborate as a team and deliver on our commitments. This role is based out of Eastern Ontario and/or Quebec, Canada. 

• Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline
• Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager
• Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
• Requires in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
• Manages a generally homogeneous team of professionals and/or supervisors; adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
• Impacts the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives

• Bilingual: French and English Languages
• Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness or related field
• 5-10 years experience in sales and marketing (preferably in the agriculture industry)
• Exceptional experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
• Valid Driver's License
