Senior Accountant

OBJECTIVE:

As a Senior Accountant, in your world, nothing is too big or too small when it comes to creating success. This means you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. It is this mindset that will allow you to excel as the Senior Accountant for our client. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in accounting, taxation, financial advisory, estate planning, corporate restructuring, and risk assessment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the preparation of audit, review and compilation working papers along with financial statements and appropriate disclosures
• Ensure that corporate, trust and personal income tax returns are accurately prepared.
• Managing assurance engagements including the planning, fieldwork and supervision of staff in a mid-sized firm.
• Responsible for building client relationships, leading a team of energetic professionals, lead by example and ensuring accounting work gets completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee team’s preparation of special reports, financial forecasts or projects as per client requests.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Preferred with CPA designation
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, tax, corporate restructuring, financial advisory, risk advisory and estate planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
