Your responsibilities will include :
- Manage all aspects of manufacturing quality control lab
- Quality control using titration and gravimetric analysis (inorganic)
- Manufacturing and technical support – out of spec batches, batch adjustments, boiler and cooling water, etc.
- Analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products
- Batch production analysis and adjustments
- Preparation and testing of reagents
- Calibration of lab equipment and procedures
- Purchasing of lab supplies, reagents and equipment
- Data entry, statistics and compilation of reports – including SAP
- Shipment of samples
- Participation in research projects
- Customer complaint follow-up
- IMS and other document control such as work instructions, SDSs
- All other related tasks
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Autonomous and team member
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience
- Graduate with diploma/degree in related chemical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)
- Be detail-oriented
- Possess a team spirit
- Experience with MS Office suite and know how to use MRP software (SAP is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills – Written and Verbal
- Strong organizational skills
