Distribution Logistics Supervisor

Job description

We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor to optimize distribution efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure excellent service to internal and external customers on a national level in a 24/7 centralized environment. The incumbent will also be responsible for supervising a team of dispatch analysts dedicated to the national distribution of bulk products, specifically liquid gas delivered by tanker.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze bulk distribution logistics processes and key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement recommendations for improvement and consistency.
Track KPIs and prepare monthly reports.
Train, qualify, and coach analysts to achieve set objectives.
Schedule analysts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Support daily operational activities.
Ensure compliance with procedures related to the Industrial Operations group as outlined in the Quality Manual.
Enable effective use of distribution planning tools for continuous optimization.
Participate in the promotion of safety and quality objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, administration, or any other relevant discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of experience, including 3 years in team management.
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (asset).
Strong planning skills, initiative in process improvement, and leadership qualities.
Skilled in data analysis and effective communication.
