Job description
Adecco is currently seeking a talented Technical Writer for a 6-month Contract role with an attractive salary of $58.10 per hour. As a Technical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in structuring and consolidating internal technical documentation, collaborating with software development teams, and contributing to the creation of a comprehensive and maintainable documentation system.
Pay rate: $58.10/hour.

Responsibilities: As a Technical Writer, you will:
Collaborate with software development teams to understand and articulate system capabilities and interfaces (APIs).
Create and refine technical information to explain system functionality effectively.
Work closely with developers to suggest best practices and optimizations, documenting them for reference.
Manage complex technical information across multiple components and ensure consistency.
QA content for errors and ensure documentation accuracy.
Have a "big picture" view of the documentation system to enhance overall understanding.
Demonstrate familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and GitHub.
Use various markup languages, including Markdown, HTML, and YAML, for documentation purposes.
Apply basic graphics and web design skills to enhance documentation presentation.
Exhibit a good understanding of information architecture and software development.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation.
Familiarity with Med-tech and SaMD industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and healthy analytical and critical thinking skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of software development and APIs.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
