Job description
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team! If you're passionate about social media, content creation, and marketing strategies, this part-time position offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide marketing support to the Sales Manager and Sales Team, enhancing our sales initiatives.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement across platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Craft, curate, and monitor engaging content for our social media channels.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to gather application photos and descriptions, creating compelling case studies.
- Design visually appealing graphics for use in social media posts, office décor, email campaigns, and trade show materials.
- Conduct keyword research, optimizing our social media profiles and website for SEO.
- Analyze our website's performance, suggesting improvements for SEO optimization.
- Ensure all content is proofread and edited for accuracy, grammar, and spelling.
- Organize, plan, and coordinate lunch-n-learns, customer training, events, and participation in local trade shows.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
- Generate and curate content for the Distributorship Sales & Marketing Newsletter, ensuring regular communication with the Sales Team.
Qualifications:
- English proficiently (Required)
- Canada work authorization (Required)
Job Details:
- Location: Mostly remote, with required commuting to the office for initial training, lunch-n-learns, expos, trade shows, and sales meetings.
- Hours: Part-time (16 hours) - Flexible
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + 4% vacation pay
- Benefits: Please note, no company benefits will be offered for this part-time position.

- Proven experience in marketing, social media management, or a related field.
