Western Conference Services is committed to providing exceptional customer service and a first-class experience to over 10,000 guests visiting Western's campus each year. We offer outstanding conference management and planning for conferences ranging in size from 30 to 3500 participants as well as affordable and convenient summer accommodations for transient guests studying, working or visiting London. Western Conference Services showcases Western’s beautiful residences, grounds and campus facilities to guests from all over the world.

Responsibilities



Responsibilities
The Conference Assistant will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of events during the Summer Conference Season that are delivered through in-person and virtual formats. The incumbent will use tact and diplomacy when troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of each event according to the details provided. The incumbent will be expected to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekdays, evenings, weekends and an on-call rotation. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of reports as well as updating software programs with the necessary event details and notifying the appropriate departments in a timely manner. The incumbent will liaise with both on and off-campus service providers to ensure customer satisfaction.
