About Our Client: Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of tools and accessories for the construction sector.
Position Scope: The primary role of the Sales Representative is to help the team achieve their goals. This role requires someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys a fast pace. The ideal candidate is motivated to work with existing customers as well develop new leads.
This is an in-office role.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Build rapport with customers
- Upsell services and making product recommendations
- Close sales and achieve company quotas
- Identify sales opportunities
- Stay informed about product for both the company and competitors
- Process quotes received via email and telephone
- Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products
- Initiate sales calls to existing customers to access the need for replenishing inventories
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) for data entry, tracking and reporting
- Must have the ability to work in an environment where frequent interruptions may occur
- Must be able to move in a fast-paced environment
- Time management a necessity
- Must gain familiarity with the company’s products and retain the information needed for selling to their customers
- Be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work completed
- Communicate effectively with others and be a team-player
- Able to convey product information and availability to customers
- Organized, motivated and a self-starter
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years inside sales experience
- Construction industry or power tools experience an asset
- Proven track record of successful sales experience required
- A valid passport and ability to travel in North America and Globally is required
