Job description
MatchBox Consulting is seeking an insightful and dedicated P roject Manager for our client, a leading light industrial developer in Greater Vancouver.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading large light industrial projects and will possess a strong background in construction management, including excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from inception to completion, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and successful project delivery.
Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and resource allocations.
Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders and address budgetary concerns proactively.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Address stakeholder concerns promptly, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement measures to ensure the safety and compliance of the project.
Uphold the company’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
3+ years of proven experience as a construction project management professional, preferably with experience working on light industrial projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
