Detailed Overview Reporting to the Manager, Health Services, the Eye Center Aide assists the surgical team by performing such duties as picking and distributing OR instrument sets, supplies and equipment for opthalmology cases according to established procedures; assisting the operative team with preparation of surgical setup, take down and transfer of instruments to SPD; transporting patients from the operating room to the recovery room and maintaining implant records.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Grade 12, successful completion of Sterile Supply Processing course, plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
