This is a full-time term position (anticipatory permanent), working 75 hours bi-weekly until December 31, 2025. (Temporary assignments will be considered)

The Land Management Branch is an effective steward of public land for the benefit of current and future generations of all Yukon people.
As a member of the Land Use unit within the Land Management Branch, the Project Manager assumes leadership in the development, planning and implementation of small, medium and large-scale projects. Examples of projects include land reclamation/site clean-ups, gravel pit development and reclamation, and management of unauthorized uses/occupancies on public land. This position spends approximately 60% of their time in an office setting and 40% in a field setting to meet clients/contractors on site, conduct preliminary or follow-up site inspections, and to undertake site reclamation/clean-up work.
This position works extensively with a variety of stakeholders including contractors, First Nations and other government departments. The position interprets a wide variety of legislation and policies to provide resource management and technical advisory services to senior management, staff and clients. The position also conducts research and provides technical and operational expertise in the development of policy and legislation.
