Acuren is actively seeking a Mechanical Integrity Inspector to contribute to our client sites in the Atlantic Region. This role will be centered at our St. John's Office and encompasses a combination of on-site fieldwork and office responsibilities. Periodic overnight travel may be required. • Conduct inspections of storage tanks, pipelines, pressure vessels and related equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards set by the American Petroleum Institute (API).
• Utilize various inspection techniques, such as visual examination, ultrasonic testing, and radiography, to assess the structural integrity of tanks and pipelines.
• Review and verify that the design, fabrication, and maintenance of petroleum equipment comply with API standards.
• Ensure that relevant documentation, including inspection records and certifications, is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available.
• Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and control the manufacturing and installation of equipment according to API specifications.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards, evaluate the probability of failure, and recommend preventive measures to enhance safety and environmental protection.

• API 510, API 570, API 653 certification or a combination there of
• Minimum of 5 years NDE/Visual experience with visual inspections 
• Additional NDT certifications such as UT/MT/PT are an asset
• Valid driver's license
• Technical report writing skills.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong work ethics
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel when required.
• Preference for candidates experienced managing multiple functional areas as defined above
