Position: Goalkeeper Coach


Department/Area: Youth Competitive Academy / Senior OSL and District Teams


Responsibilities: As a Goalkeeper Coach at Globe FC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and
honing the skills of our young and senior goalkeepers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting dynamic and engaging goalkeeper training sessions for the Youth Competitive Academy, 3 days per week.
- Developing specialized training programs catered to the needs of Senior OSL and District Competitive Teams’ goalkeepers.
- Providing individualized coaching to enhance goalkeepers' technical abilities, positioning, and decision-making on the field.
- Assisting in talent identification and player development assessments for potential advancement within the organization.
- Collaborating with the coaching staff to integrate goalkeepers' skills into team strategies and tactics.
- Conduct match preparation meetings and analysis specific for the goalkeeper
- Motivating and inspiring goalkeepers to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.


Requirements: We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Goalkeeper Coach with the following qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience, preferably working with goalkeepers at various skill levels.
- A strong understanding of goalkeeping techniques, strategies, and modern coaching methodologies.
- A passion for player development and the ability to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with players, coaching staff, and parents.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in goalkeeping and soccer coaching.


Preferred (but not required): Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Ontario Soccer GK Diploma or Ontario Soccer GK Certificate.


Reporting: The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Director, working closely with the coaching staff to implement effective training strategies.

Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: From $25.00 per hour
