UPS is currently looking for a Full Time Automotive Technician to work in our Vancouver Hub Facility (Richmond BC).
This is a Permanent and Full-Time Automotive Mechanic position located at: 5960 Ferguson Road, Richmond BC.

Job Summary:
UPS Automotive Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of package delivery vehicles and tractor-trailers. They ensure that that all UPS vehicles are serviced regularly by following the company's preventive and planned maintenance schedule.
UPS Automotive Technicians are also required to resolve DVIR concerns for each vehicle on time. They are also required to create and submit maintenance reports on all vehicles they service.

UPS also requires candidates to have:
Experience in Propane-Fueled Engines and in Fleet Maintenance is an asset but is not mandatory .
UPS Automotive Technicians work mainly indoors, inside the warehouse shop but will occasionally work outdoors on the fleet equipment. All UPS Automotive Technicians will be required to wear the provided uniform during work hours and are required to adhere to the UPS Appearance Guidelines.

All candidates must successfully complete a series of interviews, a driving competency test and an auto mechanic aptitude assessment in order to qualify. Both a criminal history records background and reference checks will also be required.
