Job description
Carlino, a Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant in the downtown core focusing on the rustic cuisine of Friuli, is looking for a Host/Hostess to join our close-knit team. As the first point to contact with our guests, a passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to connect with people is paramount in importance in this role. Responsibilities include reservation and floor plan management and facilitating the best possible guest experience.
*Weekend availability required*
You have:
- Reservations system experience, preferably with Tock
- 2+ years experience in a fast-paced, casual fine dining environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multi-task gracefully
- A calm, kind demeanour when dealing with guests and team members
- Serving it Right certification
