Responsible for supporting the Head Finance for Canada and Regional P&S (Production & Supply) team in the delivery of our financial commitments and target tracking, while partnering with the Canadian P&S team. Responsible for managing and updating the Fleet program for Canada.
We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB and we are open to remote work accommodations across Canada.
Fleet Administration
- Manage the vehicle leasing program for Syngenta Canada by acting as primary point of contact between fleet vendor and employees.
- Work with procurement to evaluate potential Fleet cost savings; conduct ongoing fleet cost analysis.
- Lead the vehicle ordering process for eligible employees and provide program overview/orientation.
- Ensure all company drivers maintain required fleet documentation, vehicle maintenance and resources.
P&S Finance Business Partner
- Support Canadian P&S team in all Finance aspects and activities; including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, actual spend monitoring, monthly variance reporting, cost center review and adjustments.
- Represent Canada at Regional monthly P&S meetings to share commentary around spend variance and discuss spend tracking related to logistics.
- Collect and share monthly spend details and KPIs, use feedback from the sales team and other stakeholders to create full year spend outlook and cascade accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) with 5-8 years experience.
- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Some experience with managing a fleet vendor required
- Ability to work closely with various stakeholders.
- Overall Fleet management is a plus
