Role Description
- You have 5+ years of experience working as part of Agile teams and a full understanding of the Scrum framework.
- You have Full stack Development experience (5+ minimum, 10+ preferred) that includes cloud-native Web development (Azure or AWS).
· You have strong knowledge in the following programming languages: C#, Javascript, Python
· You are proficient in the utilization of Design Patterns for both back and front end
· You are knowledgeable in database technologies including SQL, No-SQL (such as MongoDB, Cosmos, Cassandra, etc), and Data warehouses.
- You have experience using Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code
- You understand Agile software development and lean start-up methodologies
- You are familiar with front end technologies for web development: HTML, CSS, ReactJS
- Deep familiarity with unit testing, and test driven development
- You’re an ambitious, organized self-starter who is self-motivated, but also an excellent teammate with a professional presence and a real passion for innovation
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
- You’re experienced in Linux, worked with IOT devices such as Raspberry Pi
- You have excellent programming skills in .Net C# and Python
- You have previously worked on IOT projects and are familiar with Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Edge
What you’ll do
- You’ll bring deep functional expertise to develop polished modular code in a distinctive way to ensure large-scale business impact of the digital products being built and drive competitive advantage for Enbridge as a whole
- You’ll d evelop and implement technical solutions for Lab, ensuring efficient coordination of technical and administrative resources, and ensuring coordination with other internal and/or external stakeholders
- You’ll have the ability to bring recommendations around architecture and platform decisions, and make recommendations on critical decisions relating to code build
- You’ll develop across the techology stack, in different languages and environments
- You’ll w ork closely with end-users to identify issues and captures business requirements, and translates those requirements into system design specifications
- You’ll develop appropriate documentation as defined by the agile development mehtodology
· You’ll perform appropriate development and testing activities, and o ptimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
- You’ll design and implement data storage solutions
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of every year of education
· Min 8+ years of experience in Information Technology
