Job Description

• Prepare monthly entries, maintain, and perform analysis for various accounts, including Intercompany and Treasury accounts
• Monthly analysis and reporting of certain accounts, including monthly and quarterly reporting
• Assist with budget preparation
• Ensures the most effective and efficient use of the company resources by regularly engaging in process or system analysis and by assisting in the updating of system-wide policies and procedures.
• Assists the Financial Controller in developing a competent and efficient accounting staff by training the staff in policies and procedures and supervising their daily activities.

The Successful Applicant

• Accounting Designation (CPA) would be an asset but not a deal breaker
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Minimum 8+ years of proficiency with a large ERP system
• Multi-divisional, large corporate environment background
• Familiar with the full cycle inventory process
• Experience in the distribution industry is a strong preference, would consider manufacturing
