What will you do?
- Perform general maintenance tasks that may include: millwork (countertops), minor plumbing, repair/install doors, install windows, interior painting, drywall repairs and other similar duties.
- Knowledge of using various power tools, painting, drywall repairs an asset
- Assist with building operations functions as required
- Preform rough and finished carpentry work in the repair and construction of building components
- Fit and install trim, doors, moulding and hardware
- Repair and refinish furniture
- Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
- Operate a variety of standard power tools and equipment
- Respond immediately to emergencies
- Assist with landscaping responsibilities
- Respond immediately to service requests and emergencies that address client and building related issues
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of two three years previous experience considered an asset
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Clean Driver's abstract required
- Able to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenance
- Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Exceptional skills in communications, organizational, interpersonal and time management
- Plumbing knowledge would be considered an asset
- Proven experience in exercising good judgement under pressure
- Physically fit, able to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time an lift in excess of 25 kilograms
- Carpentry/Construction skills considered an asset
- Strong customer care and communication skill
